Fenna Kosfeld (1999) is an artist whose practice emphasises the interplay of light and material as both medium and metaphor, revealing ecological interconnections and the shifting complexities of perception. Through sculptural light objects, installations, photography, and landscape-based works, she fosters a sensorial dialogue between body, material, and environment.

With a tactile and intuitive approach, she explores how material can shape emotional experience and spatial atmosphere. Her process is guided by sensory attention — to texture, rhythm, and the quiet transformations of matter. As a mediator of materials, she creates sculptural companions that invite stillness, solitude, and presence, often envisioned within interior or set-like environments where her light objects can fully inhabit and shape the mood of a space.

Originally from Germany and based in Barcelona, Fenna studied Fine Arts at Chelsea College of Arts (UAL) and holds a Master’s in Design through New Materials from Elisava.
